Chloe's Room Facelift!
My almost 10 year old daughter, felt that her room looked like a "baby" and wanted to give it a little makeover! So, I agreed to take on the task, but the one exception was that, we had to keep the Zebra Curtains! So we decided to do a patchwork theme and we both went shopping for the fabrics and this is what we came up with :)

The Making of My Son, Chase's Room
Back in June, I helped my son, Chase make his new room, a warm, cozy fun place to hang out! We painted the wall behind his bed and inside his closet, hung curtains, and found lots of great stuff to put on the walls!! It was a fun project!!!
We found this awesome bedspread at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I made the Suede Rust colored faux Roman Shade and the Euro Shams and pillow for the bed!

Chase removed the closet doors and we made him a space for his desk, Chase installed a track light, it really turned out cool!

Kitchen Window Treatment Add-on!
I was just not completely satisfied with my window treatment over my sink, today i decided to sew a cafe style curtain to add to it! I used a cheap canvas drop cloth from home depot and some left over fabric to do the banding. Purchased the rod and rings at Big Lots, so I have approximately $12.00 in it :)

My Laundry Room Makeover!!!
A couple of months ago I decided to redo my Landry Room, while I loved the Harlequins that I had painted in there, I was tired of the dark color and the flourescent Lighting! First My Hubby put up the Board and Batten design, we shared the daunting task of Cauling it all up and then I had to sand all the walls to remove the seams that had been created from the harlequin's when i had taped them off, then I primed and painted in a semi-gloss finish! Shew, it was a JOB, but well worth it :) I had decided to to a stripe effect on the wall, using a flat finish paint, Sherwin Williams Quietute and then i went back and tapped off the walls and did the striping effect using a water-based polyurethine! Hubby installed a new track light for me and he did his first ever tile job on the backsplash around the sink! I love how it turned out!
